Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This page explains, in plain words, what personal information we collect through xaltcraft.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Xaltcraft Technologies Inc. (“Xaltcraft”, “we”) runs this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. Our offices are at 41 Starview Avenue, Vaughan, NS B0N 2T0 and 27 Parker Street, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 4T5, Canada.
Questions about privacy go to our Privacy Officer: privacy [at] xaltcraft.com, +1-902-306-7191.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the “Connect with us” form: your name, organisation, work email, the products and services you tick, and any message you add. When you email or call us: what you choose to tell us.
- Job enquiries. If you write to careers [at] xaltcraft.com, your email and anything you attach.
- Security records. Our web host and security tools record basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site safe and working.
- Spam protection. When you send the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser to tell people from automated programs.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not record your visit. Please do not send us sensitive personal information through the form.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and, if you wish, to understand your requirements and prepare a proposal.
- To keep the website and the form safe from spam and attacks.
- To consider job enquiries you send us.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We use your information only for these purposes. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Cookies
We only use cookies that the site needs to work safely: security, spam protection on the form, and log-in for our own staff. Because we do not use tracking cookies, there is no cookie banner. You can block cookies in your browser, but the form may then not work.
The maps on our Company page are not loaded until you click “Show map”. The map then comes from Google, which may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
Who we share it with
- Companies that run the website, email and spam protection for us. They may use your information only to provide that service.
- A partner, only when you ask about their product (for example cables made by Anocab) and only what is needed to answer you: your name, organisation, contact details and request.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor of our business, under this same policy.
Where it is kept
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be available to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to staff who need it. No system is completely secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
Children
This website is for business and professional users. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Other websites
Links to other websites, such as our partners or LinkedIn, are covered by those websites’ own privacy policies.
Changes
If our practices or the law change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
Privacy first. This website does not track you: no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies, no visitor recording. We only see what you choose to send us.
